At Father Daughter Designs, our dedication to exceptional customer service is the foundation of our business. If you encounter any issues, please inform us within 7 days of receiving your item so we can assist promptly.
We cannot provide a refund or exchange if a mistake results from customer-provided spelling or grammatical errors. Therefore, please double-check all details, including names and dates.
Our packaging process is highly refined to minimize breakages. However, in the rare event that an item arrives damaged, please send a photo of the damage (including personalisation) within 7 days. This allows us to support your claim for compensation or a replacement. Sometimes, Australia Post may require additional images or an in-person visit with the original packaging.
Due to the personalised nature of most products, we are unable to offer refunds after production begins unless the error is on our part. For non-personalised items, if the product doesn’t match the description or intended purpose, we will gladly provide a refund or exchange once the item is returned.
Returns on non-personalised products for change-of-mind will incur a 20% administration fee, covering processing costs, restocking, and handling. For technical errors (e.g., multiple orders for the same item), this fee applies if we are unable to replicate the issue. If external troubleshooting is needed, we will discuss any costs with you beforehand.
If the artwork you provide is unsuitable (e.g., low-quality logo), we will work with you to make it usable at minimal cost. If this is not possible, a refund will be issued minus the 20% administration fee. For order cancellations, graphic design fees cannot be refunded, but item costs will be.
In cases of minor issues, as outlined by the ACCC guidelines, we may ask you to return the item for repair or replacement, with shipping covered by us if the issue is significant. If you choose an alternative courier or there is no fault found, shipping will be at your expense.
Returns of personalised products without a major fault may incur a deduction of up to 70% for costs related to customisation, administration, and handling, as these items cannot be resold. Unauthorized returns may require you to cover the shipping cost to return the item to you.
