Father Daughter Designs Shipping and Production Policy

At Father Daughter Designs, our dedication to exceptional customer service is the foundation of our business. If you encounter any issues with your order, we encourage you to contact us as soon as possible so we can assist promptly. Nothing in this policy affects your rights under the Australian Consumer Law. We take great care in creating your custom pieces with precision and love, below you will find details about our production and shipping process.

Production Times

As most items are made to order, please allow the following timeframes for production before your order is shipped:

Small orders (1-3 items): 3-6 business days
Large orders (bulk or custom event orders): 6-8 business days

All production timeframes provided by Father Daughter Designs are estimates only and may vary depending on order volume, product complexity, material availability, equipment maintenance, public holidays, and other operational factors.

While we make every effort to meet estimated production timeframes, delays may occasionally occur. Customers will be notified of significant delays where reasonably practicable.

Please note: Business days do not include weekends or public holidays. If you require your order urgently, please contact us before placing your order and we will do our best to accommodate.

Shipping Method

We ship all orders via Australia Post. Once your order has been completed and dispatched, you will receive a shipping confirmation email with tracking information.

Estimated Delivery Times (after dispatch)

Standard Shipping (Australia Post): 3–7 business days (depending on location)

Express Shipping (Australia Post Express Post): 1–3 business days (metro areas; regional areas may take longer)

Shipping Costs

Free standard shipping on all orders over $75 within Australia

Free express shipping on all orders over $100 within Australia

For orders under $75, a flat shipping fee will be applied at checkout:

Standard Shipping: $5.95
Express Shipping: $15.95

Order Tracking

Once your order has been shipped, you will receive an email with tracking information so you can follow its journey from our hearts to your home.

Customer Address Information

Customers are responsible for ensuring all shipping information provided at checkout is accurate and complete.

Father Daughter Designs is not responsible for delays, failed deliveries, additional shipping charges, or lost parcels resulting from incorrect, incomplete, or outdated address information supplied by the customer.

If an order is returned to us due to an incorrect address, the customer may be required to pay additional shipping costs before the order can be resent.

PO Boxes

Father Daughter Designs is happy to ship orders to PO Boxes within Australia via Australia Post.

Customers are responsible for ensuring all delivery information, including PO Box details, is accurate and complete at the time of purchase.

We are not responsible for delays, failed deliveries, or additional costs resulting from incorrect or incomplete address information provided by the customer.

Order Acceptance

Father Daughter Designs reserves the right to refuse, cancel, or decline any order at its sole discretion, including where:

Personalisation information is incomplete, inaccurate, misleading, or unlawful;
Requested content is offensive, defamatory, discriminatory, or infringes the rights of another person or organisation;
A product becomes unavailable;
An error in pricing, product information, or website content has occurred; or
We reasonably believe we are unable to fulfill the order.

Where payment has already been received for a cancelled order, a refund will be provided.

Multiple Orders

Orders placed separately are processed individually and may not automatically be combined for production or shipping.

If you place multiple orders and would like them shipped together, please contact us as soon as possible after placing your order. While we will do our best to accommodate requests, combined shipping cannot be guaranteed once production or packaging has commenced.

Where separate orders are successfully combined prior to dispatch, any shipping adjustments or refunds will be assessed on a case-by-case basis.

Lost and Damaged Parcels

If your parcel is delayed, lost, or arrives damaged, please contact us as soon as possible.

While Father Daughter Designs will assist customers in lodging enquiries with Australia Post and tracking shipments, delivery services are provided by a third-party carrier.

Where a parcel is confirmed as lost or damaged in transit, remedies will be provided in accordance with the Australian Consumer Law.

Delivery delays caused by Australia Post, weather events, peak periods, natural disasters, industrial action, or circumstances beyond our reasonable control do not automatically entitle customers to a refund.

Return to Sender

If a parcel is returned to Father Daughter Designs due to an incorrect address, failure to collect the parcel, refusal of delivery, or any circumstance within the customer's control, additional shipping charges may apply before the parcel is resent.

Order Changes and Cancellations

As many of our products are personalised and made to order, requests to change, modify, or cancel an order must be submitted as soon as possible after purchase.

Once production has commenced, we may be unable to accommodate changes or cancellations.

Nothing in this section affects any rights available under the Australian Consumer Law.

Force Majeure

Father Daughter Designs will not be liable for any delay, interruption, or failure to fulfil its obligations where such delay or failure results from circumstances beyond our reasonable control, including but not limited to natural disasters, floods, bushfires, storms, cyclones, pandemics, public health emergencies, government actions, supply chain disruptions, material shortages, transportation interruptions, postal delays, industrial disputes, power outages, equipment failures, or other unforeseen events.

Where possible, customers will be notified of significant delays and provided with updated timeframes. Nothing in this clause excludes, restricts, or modifies any rights or remedies available under the Australian Consumer Law.

Medical Alert Products

Upon receiving a personalised medical alert product, customers are responsible for carefully reviewing all personalised information, including names, medical conditions, medications, allergies, emergency contact details, and any other customised content.

Any errors believed to have occurred during production should be reported to Father Daughter Designs as soon as reasonably possible so that we can investigate and, where appropriate, provide a remedy in accordance with our policies and the Australian Consumer Law.

Customers are responsible for ensuring the information displayed on their product remains accurate, current, legible, and relevant to their circumstances. If personal, medical, or emergency information changes, customers should update or replace the product accordingly.

Medical alert products should be inspected regularly for signs of wear, fading, damage, or reduced readability. Products that are no longer clearly legible or fit for their intended purpose should be replaced.

Colour & Appearance Variations

Due to differences in screen settings, lighting conditions, materials, and production processes, colours, finishes, and engraving appearance may vary slightly from images displayed on our website. Such variations are not considered faults or defects.

International Shipping

At this stage, Father Daughter Designs ships within Australia only. If you are located outside Australia and would like to enquire about a custom order, please please get in touch via our Contact Us page.
